Yanbu police arrest suspect in Madinah shooting

The man had fled Madinah and was hiding in a hotel in Yanbu. He was masked when he attacked the barber. However, police found the assailant was known to the victim. Police say they also seized the weapon used in the attack.
“The barber and the assailant were family friends,” said Madinah police spokesman Col. Fahd Al-Ghannam.
“The barber was preparing to leave for vacation in his country and his friend, who did not like the idea, had threatened to do anything if he did not drop the idea of traveling to Turkey.”
An eyewitness said a masked man had attacked the barber and fled in a car. The victim was admitted to hospital in Madinah.
His condition was not known.
