Iraq had been pumping around two million bpd on Thursday. A dust storm cut exports to 960,000 barrels on Friday and then to 720,000 on Saturday.
“Weather is clear today (Sunday), and pumping rates were restored to normal rates,” the shipper said.
The shipper said two tankers were loading 1 million barrels each and eight other vessels were at anchor waiting to be filled. Exports from Basra, Iraq’s main oil hub, tend to fluctuate widely because of weather or technical problems.
