“The rose plants are homegrown at the main nursery in the town and because of the cool weather in Al-Hada and Al-Shefa the plants will grow and flower soon,” said Taif Mayor Muhammad Al-Mukhrej.The Taif Rose is famous throughout the Arab world for its enchanting fragrance. Arabian lovers used to exchange the Taif rose as a token of their love. The mayor said as many green surfaces, gardens, and picnic points as possible are also being prepared in view of the large number of tourists flocking to the hilly locations to flee the heat in the plains, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
