From Border Stylo comes Glass (www.glassthis.com), which allows users to have contextual conversations atop any website accessible from any device and platform, without the need for any software or extension. With Glass, a user can share conversations on top of any webpage with Twitter or Facebook friends. There’s no need to e-mail links back and forth, and switch between e-mail and browser. Using this free service is like having a layer of glass over the entire Internet, which gives users a way to share and discuss content they find compelling. Since both the chat and website are always in view, everything remains in context. Users can share their Glass conversations on Facebook and Twitter with just one click.

Launching later this year, UP by Jawbone is a new system that tracks movement, sleep patterns and nutrition to help its users live a healthier life. This new end-to-end system will consist of a small wristband that monitors activity 24/7, a mobile app that analyzes activities and an open platform that motivates users with personal and social recommendations and challenges tailored to specific goals. Lifestyle diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and some forms of cancer, cause more deaths than communicable diseases, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Research shows eating healthier, getting quality sleep and moving more can prevent many lifestyle related illnesses.
