Speaking at a news conference in Chicago, where United will face the Chicago Fire in a friendly at Soldier Field on Saturday, Ferguson says Park has been offered a new deal and is “sure” Park will sign it. Ferguson says Park’s career at United has been “nothing but excellent.”
Park, who joined the club in July 2005, scored a goal in United’s 7-0 exhibition rout of the Seattle Sounders on Wednesday.
