PetroRabigh said in a statement that the complex would be running at full capacity by Aug. 15. The
restart of the 92,000 barrels-per-day (bpd) high olefin fluid catalytic
cracking unit (HOFCC) had been delayed from mid-July as more
maintenance work was needed at the unit’s fractionator, prompting Aramco
to sell fuel oil cargoes and boost gasoline imports.A crude
distillation unit (CDU) at the 400,000 bpd refinery integrated with the
petrochemical complex is back online, the firm, a joint venture between
Saudi Aramco and Japan’s Sumitomo Chemical, said earlier this month.
