After routing India 4-0 in the test series and beating them by six wickets in a one-off Twenty20 match, England took a 1-0 lead in the five-game ODI series by claiming a seven-wicket win at the Rose Bowl on Tuesday.
Determined to press home England’s advantage, Swann says “we’ve played some unbelievable cricket this summer and you don’t want the one-day series to be a damp squib.”
Despite the tour’s one-sided nature, Swann says England still “go in really thinking there’s a game on our hands each time.”
