Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK Wajid Shamsul Hasan said in a statement Sunday that Zardari underwent an angiography and some routine medical tests at London’s Royal Brompton Hospital.
He said the angiography was performed by Royal Brompton Hospital’s head of cardiology, Carlo Di Mario, with assistance from leading US cardiologists.
Hasan said that after carrying out the pre-planned checkup, the doctors gave Zardari a clean bill of health.
