The missile, with more than 1,250 miles (2,000 kilometers) in range, could pose a threat to Israel and US-allied Arab nations, including some that are home to American military bases.
The show comes weeks after neighboring Turkey agreed to host an early warning radar as part of NATO’s missile defense system aimed at countering Iranian missile threats. Washington hopes to have the radar deployed in Turkey by the end of the year.
Iran has warned such a move would escalate regional tensions.
