“Prizes would be awarded to the best research study on charity works and organizations, the best charity society in terms of administrative and financial management, the best charity worker, and the best promoter of charities and societies,” supervisor of the executive office of the coordination council Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Aal Bishr said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency on Thursday.
Aal Bishr added that a forum on charity coordination would be organized on Monday under the aegis of Prince Salman, who is the chairman of the coordination council. Riyadh Mayor Prince Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad Ayyaf will open the two-day event.
The coordination council was set up by Prince Salman to coordinate the services of charity organizations in the province.
He said 113 societies covering all areas of charity work are operating under the umbrella of the coordination council.
