Mobily’s BlackBerry subscribers to get 3-day free service

Vice President Corporate communications and PR at Mobily Humoud Al-Ghobaini said: “Despite the fact that operators had nothing to do with the interruption and that the outage was at the source’s end, compensating our BlackBerry users is the company’s way of showing them how much we care.”
BlackBerry service has been restored, after Mobily remained in constant communication with the source in its efforts to get the service back to its users, he added.
Millions of BlackBerry users are reported to have been without Web and texting services because of a defect that arose while BlackBerry maker, Research in Motion, was updating its services. The widespread outage affected many areas around the world and mostly in the Middle East.
