The program has now been officially published and will focus on opportunities for partnership and growth for local and internationals. The 2011 program will include new panels such as the sessions on nuclear and renewable energy endorsed by KA CARE (challenges and opportunities in nuclear energy and realizing the potential of renewable energy in Saudi Arabia), as well as a panel led by IDA with a focus on the future of green desalination.
There will be a technology showcase presenting innovative and integrated solutions. This session will feature a selection of exciting breakthrough technologies.
The Technology Committee will lead the panel and be responsible for selecting the shortlist of submissions to be presented in this session on Dec. 5.
Committee Members include Tom Pankratz, editor, GWI Desalination Report; Maher A. Alodan, consultant, KA CARE; Ahmed Al-Arifi, director general of research and technology department, SWCC; Omar Al-Harbi, director of Water R&D Center, KACST; and Gary Amy, director, desalination and Re-use Center, KAUST. Saudi Water Power Forum & Exhibition is organized by the CWC Group Ltd.
