Although it is not the first time Angham is making a Khaliji (Gulf) album, rumors were recently spread that she did so because of the deteriorating Egyptian music industry.
However, Angham denied this, stressing that her previous Khaliji album was successful all over the Arab world. She defended her new album and said that she had a wide range of fans around the Gulf who want her to release songs in Gulf dialect.
