The record label said Monday “Lioness: Hidden Treasures” will contain 12 songs — previously unreleased tracks, alternative versions of existing classics and brand-new songs.
It said the album, to be released Dec. 5, was compiled by the late Grammy winner’s longtime musical partners Mark Ronson in collaboration with Winehouse’s family and management.
A donation of 1 pound ($1.60) from the sale of each album in the UK will go to a foundation set up in the artist’s name following her death on July 23.
Last week a British coroner ruled the Grammy-winning soul singer died from accidental alcohol poisoning when she resumed drinking after weeks of abstinence.
