He takes up his new appointment directly from his previous position as general manager of Four Seasons Resort Langkawi, Malaysia.
Having originally studied electrical engineering at Purdue University, Indiana, US, Pirkle decided to exchange his physics books for the world of hotels and hospitality.
Graduating from Purdue with a degree in Hotel Management, Greg started his career with Four Seasons Hotel Boston in 1989.
From those beginnings in Boston, Pirkle has spent mire than 20 years in operational leadership roles in seven different Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts properties including the Pierre in New York City, Jakarta, Maui, Exuma, Hualalai and, since 2007, Langkawi.
Throughout his career with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Greg’s warmth, graciousness and coaching style of leadership are attributes that transcend the diversity of locations where he has worked and he now looks forward to placing his extensive global experience at the service of guests at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Center.
