Suzuki starts arbitration against Volkswagen

Suzuki said its action with the ICC International Court of Arbitration, based in Paris, follows its recent decision to end its alliance with Germany’s Volkswagen AG.
Volkswagen has said it will hold on to its 19.9 percent stake in Suzuki. Suzuki says Volkswagen has committed numerous breaches of their 2009 alliance to develop green cars.
Volkswagen owns the stake under a hybrid and electric car partnership inked two years ago that has unraveled into a public feud. Suzuki holds about 1.5 percent of Volkswagen.
