The event was opened by Eastern Province Gov. Prince Muhammad bin Fahd and attended by Saudi Aramco executives, academics, businessmen and traffic police heads.

Al-Wuhaib appealed to all relevant organizations to understand and promote the common goal of supporting traffic safety.
University of Dammam rector Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammad Al-Rubaish thanked Saudi Aramco for playing a key role in organizing the forum.
‘Saudi Aramco is fulfilling its obligations toward society,’ he said.
‘Such forums are the need of the hour because they have the power to educate people about saving lives,’ Al-Rubaish said.
According to Gen. Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Al-Ajlan, director of the local traffic department, all efforts that help reduce accidents are worth appreciating. ‘We welcome such public initiatives,’ he said.
The forum highlighted best practices in traffic safety, encouraged sharing of knowledge among various institutions and educated participants in traffic safety skills. The event brought together regional, national and international experts in traffic safety to share their success stories.
