The win by the equestrian team, composed of Prince Faisal Al Shalan, Kamal Bahamdan, Abdullah Al Saud and Khaled Aleid, followed Tuesday's impressive performance by Khader Ahmed Almuwallad in the men's 110m Hurdles final and by Jassim Alquraya in the men's javelin final.
Placing behind the Kingdom in the show jumping competition were Egypt (silver medalist), followed by host Qatar, the bronze medalist.
The medals standings posted in the Arab Games 2011's official site showed Egypt leading with 86 golds, 73 silvers and 62 bronze medals, for an overall tally of 221 medals.
Tunisia was second with 48 gold, 42 silver and 36 bronze medals; Morocco was third with 35 gold, 21 silver and 52 bronze medals; Qatar fourth with 32 gold, 33 silver and 37 bronze medals; and Saudi Arabia completes the top 5 with 15 gold, 11 silver and 17 bronze medals.
A total of 18 countries are participating in the games, which opened on Dec. 9 and ends on Friday, Dec. 23.
