Dwight Howard had 24 points and 25 rebounds, and Ryan Anderson scored 17, but it wasn’t enough for Orlando to overcome a dismal shooting night.
The loss snapped a five-game winning streak and three-game home win streak against San Antonio. It also was the Magic’s only loss in their lone back-to-back-to-back of the season.
In Newark, Deron Williams scored 24 points, 11 coming in crucial stretch of the fourth quarter, and had 10 assists and eight rebounds, leading New Jersey to its first home win.

Former Suns forward Amare Stoudemire scored 23 points for the Knicks, who have lost four straight.
In Boston, Rajon Rondo scored 13 of his 21 points in the first quarter and left with a sore right wrist in the third, and Boston cruised past Toronto to end a five-game losing streak.
Rondo was knocked out of the game after being leveled on a flagrant foul by Linas Kleiza late in the third quarter, but the Celtics were just fine without him. Boston led by at least 20 for much of the final period while extending the Raptors’ losing streak to six and holding Toronto to a season-low point total.

Jarrett Jack scored a game-high 27 points and his pull-up jumper got New Orleans as close as 87-85 with 1:28 left, but O.J. Atlanta was up 84-80 when a wild sequence went the home team’s way. Jamal Crawford missed on a drive, but Wesley Matthews picked off an outlet pass to apparently give the Blazers another chance. Not so fast. Johnson hustled up behind Matthews to steal it back, then lobbed to Jeff Teague for a dunk.
Crawford, who led the Blazers with 22 points in his return to Atlanta, hit a last-gasp 3-pointer but the Hawks held on.
