3D letters declaring “COUTURE IS HERE” marked the launch of the event and elicited a huge response and appreciation from guests. The collection was divided into three themes —Track Couture, Pop Couture and Flirt Couture — and had a sporty and more mature feel. Injections of neon brights and edgy detailing combined to embrace sport in a fresh new way for the coming season.
The new line is more somber, gloats of understated regality and merges maturity with the fashion sensibilities of Juicy lovers. Enthralled by the new collection, the audience was awarded with goody bags that contained a number of Juicy gifts and an exclusive gift card. Juicy Boys, dressed in white, catered to appetites with a rich selection of canapés and juices. Alternately, Good and Bad booths gave attendees the choice to indulge in guilt-free or mouthwatering treats.
Known for its trademark velour tracksuits, the brand was shaken up by new President and Chief Creative Officer LeAnn Nealz who thinks its time for the Juicy Girl to grow up. The brand is a favorite with Dubai residents and also has a huge following in the Middle East.
“You can easily spot women of all ages sporting the Juicy brand all over Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain. We have people from Saudi Arabia who absolutely love the brand. It is addictive and we never grow out of it,” said Michelle Micane a marketing executive who was in attendance. On the sidelines of the event, guests participated in the Confessions Booth, run by Dubai radio personality Simone Heng, and shared their thoughts on all things Juicy. Guests were also encouraged to prep up and indulge in a complimentary neon nail art treatment from Nail Rock.
