Indian visa application center opens in Dammam

The embassy has authorized VFS Global, said to be the world’s largest outsourced consular services company, to operate the visa application center located on Mustashfa Street in Dammam’s Adama district.
According to an official release, VFS Global has been commissioned by the Indian mission to run the new facility. It will be responsible for accepting and processing applications for Indian visas from applicants residing in the Eastern Province. “All applications will continue to be assessed, scrutinized and approved by the Indian Embassy in Riyadh,” the release said.
The Dammam office will remain open from Saturday to Wednesday (8.30 a.m. to 3 p.m.) for accepting applications and from 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Saturday to Thursday) for delivering the visas.
VFS Global has been offering Indian passport and visa application services from its state-of-the-art application center at Umm Al-Hamam in Riyadh since February 2009. Passport services are also offered from its collection centers in Batha-Riyadh, Jubail, Hail and Buraidah.
VFS Global conducts tours to various cities in the Kingdom to extend passport services to the India community in the Kingdom.
The Dammam center offers passport and attestation services for Indian citizens and this will continue in addition to the newly introduced visa application services.
