Spokesman of the Civil Defense in Makkah province Lt. Col. Saeed Sarhan said the roof, made of steel and concrete, fell as a result of heavy weight.
He said the room was built to house the workers in a car showroom in Al-Jawhara district in south Jeddah.
The spokesman said the two injured Pakistanis were taken to King Abdulaziz Hospital for treatment.
The spokesman dismissed any foul play or criminal act of any kind but said it was obvious that the roof fell as a result of the heavy weight of the steel and concrete.
