University rector Dr. Suleiman bin Abdullah Aba Al-Khail said the conference aims to explore current and future challenges in health education and facilitate an exchange of best practices and experiences with international experts in the field.
Al-Khail explained the aims of the conference included strengthening the relationship between professionals in various health professions, noting the event also includes an examination of the most important new trends in planning and curriculum development, education and learning, teacher’s tools and the contexts of learning, evaluation of performance, international dimensions of medical education, and medical innovations.
Al-Khail pointed to the leading role played by the university’s College of Medicine in the community, underlined the importance of this conference for both university and college, and emphasized the university leadership’s keenness to overcome all difficulties faced by the college in terms of its performance.
“May Allah praise the leaders this blessed country led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah and Crown Prince Naif for their support of the university and its colleges and interest in its activities and events,” he added.
