Deputy Labor Minister Mufarej bin Saad Al-Haqbani said, “The preliminary approval was given to more than 13 companies to set up new recruitment companies.”
The recruitment companies had to meet the many requirements that the Labor Ministry decided on in 2011. Among others, they should be a closed joint-stock company under construction and five of the establishers of the company should still be working there.
Other conditions were that the capital of a company should be owned by Saudis personally. The company’s capital should not be less than SR50 million if it was licensed to provide home labor, and SR100 million for providing labor in the private and public sector.
