Al-Humayyed was proposed as vice president by the ISSA President Errol Frank Stoové, and endorsed by the ISSA Bureau members. The election is a recognition of GOSI governor’s “significant commitment and contributions to the ISSA over many years,” said Stoové, welcoming the newly-elected vice president.
“Thank you for the confidence that the ISSA officers and bureau members have expressed in electing me as vice president of the association,” said Al-Humayyed. “I hope that I can fulfill your expectations and contribute to the leadership of the association until the World Social Security Forum in Qatar, and I ask for the support of all ISSA members,” he said.
Al-Humayyed was appointed GOSI governor in 1995. A dynamic ambassador for the ISSA, he has significantly contributed to increasing the association’s membership in the region.
