New book highlights STC’s social initiatives

This enabled the company to make a positive impact through taking part in the society’s sustained growth and development with a focus on its health, education, and recreation fields in a way keeping pace with the developments in the telecommunications and technological fields.
In the preface of the book, STC President President and CEO Saud Al-Daweesh said the company managed to accomplish a difficult task of achieving commercial success together with establishing a strong bond with the Saudi society.
The company contributed substantially in boosting the local economy, achieving greater prosperity for the nation and enriching the social and intellectual lifestyle of all citizens and foreigners.
The book highlights STC’s responsibility for the society in which it operates through launching initiatives within a wide range of loyalty programs.
These included Wafaa Education Program for the purpose of educating, qualifying and training Saudi youths.
STC continuously works on improving the telecommunication services extended to Haj and Umrah pilgrims.
The book also sheds light on STC’s Health Loyalty Program under which it established 22 health care centers in different regions of the Kingdom at a total cost of SR 100 million.
In addition to this, STC has launched Wafaa Sport Program to support Saudi sport clubs.
As part of this, the company has signed sponsoring contracts with Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli and Al-Nasr clubs.
