RIYADH: Super, Mughal, NAB, Maestro and Karachi Titans scored comfortable wins over their rivals during the third week of the Sikandar Farroqui T20 Cup cricket tournament, sponsored by Saudi Cricket Center and organized by the Riyadh Cricket League at the RCL complex recently.
The highlights of the day, was impressive batting performances by Kamran Khan, Shoaib, Feroz, Rehan Shamsi. Shaffeq and Sajjab Shah who proved themselves as good all-rounders while Imran Khan dazzled with his bowling.
Super CC eased past Black Caps by 34 runs.
Super made first use of the wicket and set the rivals a target of 190 for victory.
Baber Mirza played a responsible innings of 41 runs. He was well supported by Adnan Malik (38), Adnan Nasir (22) and Shafeeq (19). Mukeem and Sanaullah took 2 wickets each for the bowling side.
In reply Black Caps were bowled out for 154 runs. Bilal (39), Farhat (27) and Danesh (26) did their best. Shafeeq impressed with the ball and took 3 wickets. Babar took 2 wickets while Faraz, Noman and Baber Mirza took a wicket each.
Man-of-the-Match: Shafeeq.
In another match, Mughal CC struggled to get past National by 3 wickets. National batted first and put on board 149 runs. Saadat Khan (37), Ijaz (28), Azeem (19) and Faheem (19) were the only batsmen who put up some resistance. Sajjad Shah, Sami and Qasim of Mughal bagged 2 wickets each.
In reply Mughal reached their target off 15.1 overs. Javed (37), Shafeeq (21), Sajjad Shah (20) and Khurram (13 runs) made it possible. Ijaz, Azeem and Faheem of National shared 6 wickets.

Elsewhere, NAB put up 193 runs against Mehran. Thanks to Kamran Khan’s classic 86 runs. Jameel Khan (24) and Usman Butt (19) were the other contributors. Majeed and Ijaz of Mehran took 2 wickets each.
In reply Mehran fell short by 44 runs as they were bowled out for 149 runs. Usman Khan (32) was the only batsman who stood among the ruins as the other batsmen fell at regular intervals. Nazir and Imran shared 4 wickets each while Abbas, Jameel Khan and Basharat took a wicket each.

Later, Maestro scored a comfortable 35-run win over Deccan Stars. Maestro batted first and scored 192 runs. Shoaib Shah (66) and Feroz Khan (51) were in good form and gave their team a flying 117-run start. Later, Kalandar Hamad propped the innings with 30 runs. Mujtaba of Deccan Stars took 2 wickets.
In reply Deccan Stars were all out for 157 runs. Nisar (32), SHaji (30), Aamir (26) were the main contributors. Hashir Curtay and Tariq Ahmed of Maestro took 2 wickets each.
Man-of-the-Match: Shoaib Shah.
Karachi Titans routed Kashmir Press by 41 runs. Karachi Titans put on board 163 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Rehan Shamsi top-scored with 68. He was supported by Mian (39) and Jawad (23). Meerwaiz of Kashmir Press took 2 wickets.
In reply Kashmir Press were bundled out for 122 runs. Shabab (30) and Raza (25) tried to make a fight of it. Imran Khan took 4 wickets. Rizwan and Moin took 2 wickets each.
