AL-AHSA: The Al-Ahsa Municipal Council is exploring ways to link the issuance or renewal of licenses of gas stations with the level of cleanliness of toilets at each station.
At its regular meeting attended by all members on Thursday, the council discussed citizens' role in this regard through posters, urging them to report any failure in the level of cleanliness in the toilets of gas stations.
A comprehensive study of all public toilets has been discussed, searching for ways to provide urgent solutions to be implemented.
The council discussed the possibility of preparing a memorandum of understanding with the General Directorate for Education in Al-Ahsa to be a co-strategic collaborator because of the importance of the education department and its cadres in the community to achieve common visions and goals.
The council members also addressed the possibility of holding an annual meeting with charities in order to cooperate with the council in all civic programs, and educational and field campaigns.
The council discussed various proposals, including Al-Ahsa cemeteries’ needs, holding a mass Iftar for cleaners at King Abdullah Environmental Park, in addition to putting a pedestrian sign in Qaisariya Souk. At the end of the meeting, all recommendations were referred to the Coordinating Committee in the Council.
