100 guests invited to perform Umrah

RIYADH: At least a 100 prominent Muslims from around the world would perform Umrah as guests of the Kingdom from June 30, according to Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Saleh Al-Asheikh.
These prominent Muslims were invited as part of the Umrah program overseen by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.
They include muftis, scholars and heads of Islamic associations from 22 countries including the Indian subcontinent, southeast Asia, the Balkans and Central Asian states.
Al-Asheikh thanked the king for this generous gesture, and said this was part of the monarch’s support for unity among Muslims worldwide, which would allow for discussions on challenges facing Islam.
