Govt Eid functions end

RIYADH: Eid celebrations within government ministries, departments and private sector companies came to an end on Thursday with officials greeting one another to offer their greetings following the final day of the Eid Al-Fitr.

Following the Eid Al-Fitr prayers, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense, received the chief of the General Staff Gen. Abdulrahman Al-Banyan, Lt. Gen. Fayyad Al-Rwaili and the leaders of the branches of the armed forces and senior officials of the Ministry of Defense who came to see him on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
Prince Mohammed conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, the supreme commander of military forces and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif. The reception was attended by a number of senior officials.
Minister of Culture and Information Adel Al-Toraifi also hosted a party at his ministry to exchange Eid Al-Fitr felicitations among his staff. On behalf of his staff, the minister sent his greetings to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, appealing to Allah Almighty to preserve the country and bestow His blessings on the welfare of the nation.
Health Minister Tawfik Al-Rabiah also conveyed his greetings and good wishes to all his staff.
In Amman, Saudi Ambassador Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdullah held a reception ceremony to commemorate Eid Al-Fitr as well. He hosted a galaxy of distinguished guests including the Saudi diplomatic mission’s member staff, attachés and representatives from its affiliated offices, Saudi students studying in Jordan, and a number of Saudi citizens living in Jordan.
In Washington, Saudi Embassy Charge d’Affaires Sami bin Mohammed Al-Sad-han hosted guests from all walks of life which included the chairmen of the offices affiliated to the embassy, Saudis currently living in Washington D.C., Saudi students on scholarships, Saudis residing in America and their families, who performed Eid Al-Fitr prayers and had their breakfast together at the mission.
