LuLu Saudi Hypermarket Group is hosting the Pinoy Fiesta, Pinoy Salo-Salo SA LuLu, at all its Saudi outlets from July 20 to 31.
Unlike last year, the group has organized the Pinoy Fiesta in a “big way” this time, too, it noted in a statement yesterday.
Through the fiesta, LuLu has endeavored to celebrate the culinary heritage and food habits of Philippines, as well as to highlight and promote the best quality Filipino food products and agricultural produce among the local community.
LuLu Group has been organizing Filipino Festival for several years as part of its annual food festivals.
This year, there is an “exclusive focus on Filipino food habits, taking into consideration its long heritage,” the statement added.
Over the twelve days, special promotional campaigns and offers have been planned on a number of imported items in association with brands such as Mama Sita’s, Del Monte, Shaflout, AFTA, 555, Datu Puti, Argentina, Marcapina Ladies Choice, Lucky Me, UFC, Century, etc.
Special collection of musical instrument, varieties of health care products, new and rare collection of smart watch and tablets also are the special attraction of the promotion.
As for agricultural produce, collection of white onion, curly parsley, garlic, morning glory leaves, bean sprout, paksoi, baby paksoi, calamansi, guyabano, mangosteen (wild), dragon fruit, durian, pomelo, papaya, tanglad, kamote (white and violet), ube, rambutan, pandan leaves, pineapple, banana, senorita banana, sweet corn and hass avocado are on display and will be available throughout the festival period.
Furthermore, they have also chance to win 11 Range Rover cars by participating at any of LuLu’s seven outlets in Riyadh, Alkhobar, Dammam, Jubail and Jeddah.
In addition to a promotional ‘taste the versatility of Filipino cuisine and buy food products of their choice,’ various kids activities have been planned.
