Bupa Arabia for cooperative health insurance, claimed as the largest specialized health care insurance company in the Kingdom, was honored by Princess Adelah bint Abdullah, chairperson of the National Home Health Care Foundation, for its participation in organizing two workshops.
The workshops were held in cooperation with the Saudi Health Council and the Home Medicine Committee to train health staff workers on home medicine in both the cities of Madinah and Riyadh.
Ali Sheneamer, chief commercial officer at Bupa Arabia, received the honorary trophy on behalf of Bupa Arabia at a special ceremony held at the Jeddah International Exhibition and Convention Center, attended by several board members and sponsors of the National Home Health Care foundation.
“We are very pleased to receive such an honor that emphasizes the leading position of Bupa Arabia in connecting and being a vital part of diverse national initiatives, supporting its stance toward the National Home Health Care Foundation. Our engagement with the foundation is based on our firm belief in the vision and goals of this prosperous foundation that was solidified with their agreement with the Home Medicine Committee to train health staff,” Sheneamer added.
The workshops were organized for three days in both Madinah and Riyadh, which addressed several important themes, including the general basics of home medicine, health evaluation and the scope of the health service provided.
The workshops also included several discussions regarding home medicine policies, how to deal with home medicine patients, the skills needed to be able to help home medicine patients, emergency cases of home medicine patients, and how to deal with the equipment of home medicine patients and fight infections.
Bupa Arabia stated that it always seeks to raise the level of health care for all members of the community through its active participation in the support of many agencies and charities.
