Haia launches programs to develop field work

RIYADH: The planning and development department at the General Presidency for the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Haia) is implementing a number of programs and initiatives to develop the administrative and field sides of the presidency.
The plan includes 10 programs which aim to guarantee the implementation and follow-up of the strategic plan. The plan also involves continuous evaluation and updating to achieve coordination between branch directorates’ plans and the strategic plan. It also aims to spread a culture of planning, follow up on the implementation of directorates, branches, commissions and centers’ plans and their evaluation. The King Salman Program for Developing Human Resources aims to invest in human resources, raise the quality of government employees’ performances and increase their productivity.
It includes a program to develop the organizational structure of the general presidency while taking care of current and future needs according to the strategic plan, and defining specialties and tasks.
The presidency is drafting a program that targets its field and administrative work by facilitating unifying procedures, raising the level of transparency and implementing work electronically.
The presidency allocated a project for training that aims to define training paths and develops training programs and methodologies.
The presidency is working on gauging the performance of its general agencies and administrative branches according to specifications related to administrative, planning, organization, supervision, development, counseling and education, field affairs, evaluation, administrative skills and relations with the community.
The drafting and analyzing of annual reports of the presidency’s achievements is one of these programs, in addition to the development of the leadership competencies program and the development of field work at Haia centers, and their encouragement according to the given specialties.
The implementation of these programs comes according to a directive from the general president, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Sanad, and conforms to the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision.
