Qatar Airways has announced an increase in services to Madinah and Jeddah, connecting travelers from Saudi Arabia to more than 150 worldwide destinations and enabling football fans to conveniently travel to support Al-Ahli football team.
From Aug. 1, Qatar Airways will double its frequencies to Jeddah, increasing from 14 flights a week to 28, between King Abdulaziz International Airport and Hamad International Airport in Doha.
From Sept. 1, the airline will introduce an additional seven flights a week to Madinah’s Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport, increasing its total flights into the Kingdom to 137 weekly.
Ehab Amin Qatar Airways’ SVP commercial GCC, Levant, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Africa and Indian Subcontinent, said: “We are pleased to announce our increased services to these two cities within Saudi Arabia. By adding an extra 21 flights a week, we are giving travelers even more flexibility to explore the world through our hub, Hamad International Airport, Doha.
“As the official sponsor of the Jeddah-based club, the addition of two more daily flights to Jeddah — to a total of four daily flights — will also enable Al-Ahli Saudi FC fans to travel to watch their favorite team play, while also opening up a world of more than 150 destinations to customers.”
Travelers from Saudi Arabia can take advantage of the increased frequencies to visit any of the new destinations that Qatar Airways has launched this year, which include exciting cities all around the globe, such as Los Angeles, Boston and Atlanta in the USA, Adelaide in Australia, and Marrakech in Morocco.
Qatar Airways will soon offer service to Pisa, Italy; Helsinki, Finland; Windhoek, Namibia and Sarajevo, Bosnia, with dozens more destinations planned to start over the next 12 months.
Qatar Airways will also have more First Class seats available, allowing even more passengers to experience the airline’s service.
