Mouawad launches new initiative in collaboration with DCA

In a new initiative, Mouawad has decided to support disabled children through the sale of specially made bracelets. This is part of its move to give back to the region that has supported the company since 1950.
The initiative is launched under the Robert Mouawad Foundation in cooperation with the Disabled Children’s Association (DCA), with the support of Prince Sultan bin Salman.
Mouawad’s global Hand in Hand initiative sees each purchase of a custom-designed bracelet, which aims to make a precious difference to a child’s life.
Part proceeds of each bracelet are donated to the DCA, with a strong focus on advancing their education and upbringing.
DCA Secretary General Awad Al-Ghamdi, says: “It is our pleasure to have Mouawad partner with us to assist disabled children through their Hand In Hand initiative. Our aim is to empower every child with disability in the Kingdom and help them lead better lives.”
“Making a thoughtful and beautiful gift for a loved one, the bracelets also stylishly express the art of giving in a compassionate fashion,” the Mouawad stated.
For more than 125 years, Mouawad fine craftsmanship has been creating exceptional moments that are forever cherished as lifetime memories.
Co-guardian of Mouawad, Pascal Mouawad, says: “Mouawad is committed to making a lasting contribution to the communities where it operates, and we are pleased to have this initiative launched first in Saudi Arabia. The bracelets designed for the Hand in Hand initiative are made with the intention of taking action on behalf of disabled children, while highlighting the spirit of goodwill.”
Featuring a simple yet contemporary unisex design, the bracelets are crafted with 18-karat rose gold and leather, and are presently available for sale at all Mouawad boutiques in the Kingdom.
