JEDDAH: The Saudi Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) has revealed that the corporation’s stations are set to produce and distribute about 18 million cubic meters (MCM) of water in Makkah and the holy sites during the current pilgrimage season.
This comes through an operational plan that depends on securing water from desalination plants on a daily basis, in addition to more 2,000 cubic meters of water coming daily from the Malkan Valley Project to pump water to the Grand Mosque bathrooms.
