Dial 19911 to report mobile shop violation

JEDDAH: The Ministry of Labor and Social Development has appealed to people to report violations regarding the Saudization of the telecom sector through the ministry's unified customer services line 19911 or through the website rasd.ma3an.gov.sa
The deadline for 100 percent nationalization of the telecom sector ended on Dul Hijjah 1 (Sept. 3) and action is being taken against violators of the law.
According to a press release issued by the ministry, the owners of mobile shops will be penalized if non-Saudis are found working for them. The drive is to ensure employment to Saudis and organize the sector, it added.
The ministry is conducting an inspection drive with the cooperation of Ministries of Interior, Commerce and Investment, Municipal and Rural Affairs and Communications and Information Technology Commission.
