LONDON: Emily Blunt and John Krasinski have announced the birth of their second baby, sources said.
“What better way to celebrate the 4th ... than to announce our 4th family member. Two weeks ago we met our beautiful daughter Violet,” the couple tweeted.
It’s the couple’s second child after they welcomed daughter Hazel in 2014.
Although Blunt, 33, revealed she was expecting in January, she maintained an impressive work schedule throughout most of her pregnancy.
“The first pregnancy is the most self-indulgent thing in the world because you get massages and prenatal yoga and hypnotherapy CDs,” she said. “During this one I forget that I’m even pregnant. I’m hoisting my two-year-old around.”
The British star filmed “Girl On The Train,” and did a promotional tour for “The Huntsman: Winter’s War,” which she stars in alongside Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron.
“In a way, the part was the only one in Hollywood I could still have done, because it didn’t matter if I was a bit big — ‘The Baker’s Wife’ eats a lot of buns!” she joked. “But by the end of the shoot, I was about seven months and hiding behind every tree in the woods.”
Blunt and Krasinski are reportedly looking to relocate their new family of four from Hollywood to the East Coast, after selling their home to Kendall Jenner for $6.5 million.
The pair, who started dating in 2008, will mark their six-year wedding anniversary this weekend.
