MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone, the rising Bollywood star who rocked in her character of Leela in recently released Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Ramleela, was seen hugging Ranbir Kapoor’s parents, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, and receiving blessings, "Well done beta. Keep it up. God bless you."

According to entertainment website magnamags.com, Deepika made the first move by walking towards Ranbir parents.

Rishi Kapoor responded warmly and showered blessings. The website said they were also seen engaged in a lively conversation for some time.

This change of heart from both sides was remarkable as Deepika had moved on after uttering not-so-good things about Ranbir on Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan, and obviously, Ranbir’s parents had objected to that.

But, the hugging session in full public view seems to have ended all that past acrimonious exchanges and opened a new chapter between the relations of Deepika and Ranbir Kapoor’s parents. This is the new chapter that Katrina Kaif would never like to ignore.
