LOS ANGELES: ‘Jurassic World’ is on track for the largest-ever second weekend performance with $29 million on Friday for a total $103 million weekend, according to early estimates, possibly outdoing ‘The Avengers’ previous record of $103.05 million.

But the movie has also kicked up a racial row after it featured dinosaurs named Pachycephalosaurus.

Pronounced (pak-ee-sef-a-low-sor-us), the creature is a real species of dinosaur which lived during the late Cretaceous period, 76-65 million years ago.

A character at one point abbreviate the name and shouts: ‘The Pachys are out of containment!’.

A short of the lengthy name rather than the outdated and offensive racist epithet used to describe people from Pakistan. It’s Pachy not Paki.

But Phonetically this sounds like a wildly racist slur, and it has left some viewers squirming uncomfortably in their seats.

The damage was done and British Asian comedian Guzzy Bear has called for a ‘boycott’ of the film in a hilarious video uploaded to YouTube.
