Dennis Quaid to attend Dubai Celebrity Smash

DUBAI: Hollywood star Dennis Quaid will be heading to Dubai to attend The Dubai Celebrity Smash.
The event will be an annual sporting attraction featuring multiple activities with local and international celebrities at the helm.
Kicking off on Oct. 16 with the Dubai Celebrity Golf Tournament, the star-studded event is designed to bridge the gap between UAE sports lovers and international performers while shining a light on local charities and foundations.
One of the charities that Iconic is working with is the Make A Wish Foundation UAE — an organisation that grants the wishes of children living with life-threatening medical conditions, Albawaba reported.
Ten celebrities have already confirmed their participation in the golf programme, including Kevin Sorbo, Hellboy's Ron Perlman, and Miami Vice's Don Johnson.
The rest of the celebrities for the golf program will be revealed during Eid Al-Adha.
The long-term goal of the event is to promote health and fitness in the UAE through celebrity endorsements and one-on-one interaction.
