MUMBAI: Sooraj Pancholi was in the news in 2013 after his ex-girlfriend actress Jiah Khan committed suicide at her residence. The actor had survived a 30 day ordeal in jail. Two years later, his debut film ‘Hero’ is ready to hit the screens. The actor still finds it difficult to overcome his girlfriend Jiah’s suicide and wants to keep it to himself.
In an interview to IndiaToday.in, Sooraj said, “I don’t think I have changed as a person, I am the same Sooraj, I was three years ago. And what happened in my life remains deep inside my heart, that I’ll never let go out.” Talking about the case, the ‘Hero’ actor added, “It’s still with the court and I’m waiting for the court to decide what to do.”
As Salman Khan is the one behind Sooraj’s career, the actor has a lot to say to him.
The ‘Hero’ actor also told IndiaToday that he did not want to bother Salman Khan with his problems. He said, “I actually didn’t want him to reach out to my problems because he is a busy man and has his own set of things to look up to. I had my family and didn’t need anybody at that point of time.”
Sooraj continues, “Jiah Khan’s case has just made me stronger and so much criticism I have got through that. I am even ready for failure now as I’ve got it too early in my life. It doesn’t really bother me anymore.” At his upcoming film Hero’s trailer launch, Sooraj broke down and on that the actor said, “It had nothing to do with my case, it was just my love for Salman Khan.”
