MUMBAI: An actor's popularity is measured by his/her fans, but Salman Khan's popularity is measured by his fans, who call themselves 'Salmaniacs'. Till now we've known Dec. 27 as Salman's birthday but the nine million plus Salmaniacs on Twitter have now decided to celebrate it as the 'Being Human Day'.

The superstar's fans went into a frenzy five days before his birthday with making 'Salman Khan birthday' trend at top ahead of Dec 27. #HappyBirthdaySalmanKhan and Being Human Day were also trending on top.

Meanwhile, giving us a peep into his celebrations, Salman tweeted a pic of his birthday cake and captioned it saying, “Birthday cake pic for u.”

Salman Khan turned 49 this year. Born in 1965 to film writer Salim Khan and Salma Khan, Salman started his acting career with a supporting role in 'Biwi Ho Toh Aise'. With 70 plus films and about 40 blockbusters, Salman is one of the most powerful names in Bollywood today.
