It has been a while since Sonakshi Sinha was seen on silver screen after ‘Tevar’ early last year. Well, currently Sona is busy shooting for Vipul Shah’s action film ‘Force 2’ opposite B Town hottie John Abraham. Although, the film shoot was impeded due to co-star John’s leg injury, and then due to a change in off-site location after the unit was denied permission to shoot in China. But, now the duo is back in action and shooting a romantic number from Anil Kapoor and Sridevi starer ‘Mr India’, the iconic song ‘Kaate Nahi Kat Te’.

Other than ‘Force 2’ the ‘Dabangg’ actress has apparently given her nod to a film which is an adaptation of Pakistani scribe Saba Imtiaz’s novel, ‘Karachi, You’re Killing Me’. Buzz is that the actress liked the script narrated by ad filmmaker Sunhil Sippy, the film is titled ‘Noor’ feature Sonakshi as a Pakistani journalist.

The film is a story of Ayesha Khan, a journo in her twenties living in one of the world’s most dangerous cities, Karachi. The comedy crime-thriller revolves around various situations in the city and how they affect peoples’ lives through social damages as reported by the main protagonist, Ayesha. Intriguing!

Sona always keeps a watchful eye on interesting scripts and seems to have found another perfect women-centric film for her. A biopic on Haseena Parker, underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s seventh sister might go on floors soon. But director Apoorva Lakhia needs at least one month from Sonakshi at a stretch, a commitment that Lady Dabangg hasn’t been able to make as of now.

An insider informed, “If Sona’s dates work out by then, she will do the film but if not, then another actress will have to be considered for the role.”
