DUBAI: Surely a weather forecaster should be able to predict the embarrassment that can happen when high heels are teamed with live television?

Unfortunately for a lady presenter whose towering shoes got the better of her as she stepped backwards and lost her footing during her broadcast, express.co.uk reported.

The woman — who was wearing high heels — was just beginning her segment on Al-Arabiya news channel when the hilarious incident happened.

She fought a losing balancing act and fell to the floor before the camera swiftly cut away to two news anchors who struggled to hide their sniggers.

However, this moment is far from the first embarrassing incident to happen to a weather forecaster.

BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood accidentally told her viewers to expect scorching temperatures of 99°C, while a German weather girl caught a fit of uncontrollable giggles during her broadcast.
