LOS ANGELES: Actress Shailene Woodley and singer Sam Smith are the leading nominees for the 2015 People’s Choice Awards with four nods apiece.

Nominees in 58 categories were announced Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Woodley is up for dramatic actress, action-movie actress and twice nominated for favorite movie duo: with her “Divergent” co-star Theo James and “The Fault in Our Stars” co-star Ansel Elgort.

Smith is nominated for male artist, breakthrough artist, favorite song for “Stay With Me” and favorite album for “In the Lonely Hour.”

Brad Pitt, Robert Downey Jr, Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johansson were among those shortlisted in the favorite movie actor and actress categories.

On the small screen, three shows are nominated in five categories each: “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Supernatural” and “The Vampire Diaries,” according to People’s Choice organizers.

Favorite TV show nominees are “The Big Bang Theory,” “Game Of Thrones,” “NCIS,” “Once Upon a Time” and “The Walking Dead.”

On the music side of things, Britain’s Smith was nominated for favorite male artist along with Blake Shelton, Ed Sheeran, John Legend and “Happy” singer Pharrell Williams.

Favorite female artists nominees were Beyonce, Iggy Azalea, Katy Perry, Sia and Taylor Swift.

Nominations are based on some 70 million votes cast by fans.

Voting is open to the public and will continue through Dec. 4.

Winners will be presented during the People’s Choice Awards ceremony on Jan. 7, 2015. Actresses Anna Faris and Allison Janney will host the program at the Nokia Theatre and broadcast on CBS.
