Deputy Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah met with Pakistan Ambassador Muhammad Naeem Khan in Jeddah on Tuesday.
The ambassador handed over a letter from Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar to the prince. The ambassador also conveyed greetings from the foreign minister to Prince Abdul Aziz, who warmly reciprocated.
Both reviewed the progress made on various proposals discussed during the recent visit of Prince Abdul Aziz to Pakistan in April.
They expressed satisfaction over the level of bilateral relations and agreed to take practical steps to further strengthen the strategic partnership with a focus on economic and trade ties.
The two sides also agreed to enhance exchange of visits at all levels to intensify cooperation in different fields.
Prince Abdul Aziz said bilateral ties were special to both governments and their people. He also underscored the importance of new areas of cooperation and coordination to further strengthen ties. He expressed extreme happiness over his recent visit to Pakistan.
Both countries are engaged in identifying areas of cooperation and taking steps to boost their strategic partnership.
