The Vocational Training and Technical Institute in Makkah, in cooperation with the Technical Council, is organizing a career festival for the development of the youth under the supervision of Makkah governorate for the summer vacation at different malls in the city.

Rashid bin Mohammed Al-Zahrani, director of the technical education council for Makkah and chairman of the technical and vocational training institute Makkah said this initiative is a part of the summer festival to provide a better chance at productive activities during the summer vacation.

“This festival comes as one of the most important technical-oriented summer programs for youth and community, for the development of technical and vocational training, and to increase the status of technological development in the Kingdom in all fields. We also aim to strengthen the relationship between training centers and professional society,” he said.

Walid Felemban, supervisor of the career festival, said the festival would provide productive events and activities to the youth during the summer vacation.

“This initiative will also increase professional awareness by providing different programs, competitions, technical information and technical training shows by professionals with a focus on national, social, educational, professional goals, with entertainment,” he added.

The festival can be visited at Haifa Mall, South Mall and N2 Mall in Jeddah from 6 p.m. till late at night throughout the summer vacation.
