The Ministry of Labor has launched an automated system which will help inspection teams with the search for databases of establishments to reveal information about the violating body.

A precursor to the activation of the e-government application, the system will facilitate the work of inspectors by automatically monitoring the violations with the use of iPad minis. The system will also measure the performance of inspectors, extract reports about the visits and schedule future visits electronically.

Secretary-general for inspections and development of the work environment Abdullah Abu Thunain praised the project saying it is significant in providing e-linkage with the databases of the Labor Ministry and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in addition to reviewing the details of violations and previous visits of the inspection teams to violating establishments.
