Irate Jeddah residents have urged the municipality to complete several projects in the city including bridges and underpasses, asphalting of roads, street lighting, a proper sewage system and footbridges and pavements.

The residents submitted their demands to Jeddah Mayor Hani Abu Ras as he begins a second four-year term at the helm of the municipality. The extension was recently confirmed in a royal order.

Residents cited several projects that need urgent attention including the undrpass at the intersection of Al-Arbaeen and Palestine streets in the Bani Malik district.
